A huge support turned out for this one with Stomp regulars aufc and cakes joining trenchies Da ,Mrs buckles and Mrs upfer and weans, upfers brother and 2 nephews made up the biggest crowd of the season!!

The match started evenly with little being created from either side, first chance came when Darran beat his man and hit the byeline and cut it back perfectly for upfer to slot home but the ref's whistle blew for the ball being over the byeline.Ten minutes later the Allstars took the lead, after a series of corners the ball broke too Col, 20 yards out he deftly curled the ball high past the keeper and into the net. That was the lot for on the whole a pretty poor half.

The second half saw Trenchie replacing Darran in the strike force and shortly after guest swally player Chris mac replaced Zdb.

The Allstars started this half much more brightly and Ally set off down the right hand side with a great run and cross which upfer should have slotted home but instead went for the spectacular volley(typically) which was mishit and the keeper managed to gather before the ball crossed the line.

There wasnt long to wait for number two as the queens defender missed his tackle and brought upfer crashing to the ground, the resultant penalty was hit strong and straight by the striker but the keeper only moved slightly and got a good block in, strikers instinct however saw upfer smash the rebound in off the bar. This signalled the end for Queens as their heads went down the Allstars were on the up.

col moved into midfield and worked well with humo who played upfer down the right channel who in turn fed a great ball through to strike partner trenchie who cooly held off the defence and slid the ball under the keeper for a well worked third goal.

Zdb returned to the action for the Injured Buckles( does the skits count as an injury??) Number four arrive after more pressure from the Allstars when Zdb headed home from 2 yards after another sereis of corners.The football being played now was free flowing and everybody was enjoying the game, several chances were being made but not taken,

Col then played the pass of the match over the top of a static queens defence for upfer to latch on to and hit a sweet half volley into the roof of the net from 18 yards out.

Trenchie notched his second of the game after a mix up saw the defender head past his own keeper but to save his blushes trenchie slid in with half a ton of sand to push the ball over the line.

Diamond Gord completed the scoring with a fine 20 yard effort from a cleared corner which zipped into the bottm right of the goal. There could have been more goals with Upfer, trenchie Boywonder and the luckless Ally all having chances. A good game and a good performance and even with the scoreline the queens lads seemed to have enjoyed the day with a return match being offered for next season.
