Five a side stakes just went up

A Number of weeks ago, i spoke to Jim Ballantyne about adding a team into the five a side tournament, unfortunately he can't make it as after speaking to Sandy they don't think it would be fair However

I spoke to Sandy yesterday and we decided that it wasnt right to enter a team. What we will do is put up a wee prize.

The winning team will get the opportunity to play an Airdrie FC select at the Stadium. We could do it at half time during the Dundee Utd friendly so that there would be a good crowd.

Maybe the trust could come up with something for fundraising, ie how many goals the team will lose (or score).  No doubt you will have more original ideas!!

Sorry to all the Motherwell fans who have entered the competition, gives you a reason to throw it lol.
