A few reminders!!

Just a few reminders of things, basically because I am bored and can't think of anything else more football based to write about.

First things first, Tonight 27th June A.I.S.A are holding their now regular quiz night, everyone is asked to be in place so things can start at 20:00pm.

Airdrie United Supporters Society are due our next meeting, as yet it has not been confirmed but should be 2nd of July, confirmation to follow. So any questions or suggestions get them in to Veronica as soon as.

The Airdrie United Lottery is continuing to go from strength to strength, over the past two weeks prizes of over £4000 have been given out, the prizes up for grabs this week are £800 and £300. Tickets can bought from Albert Bar, West End Bar, The Heritage (Greengairs), Kennedy's Hairdresser and most importantly Sharrelles Bakers on South Bridge Street, showing that even everything she has been through her support for the club is still there.

Also in this weeks advertiser it was made clear that the boards around the stadium are now the sole responsibility of Airdrie United football club, In an E-Mail from Jim Ballantyne.

"You will have noticed that we have taken control of the advertising boards round the pitch with every single penny of the income going direct to Airdrie. Dudley do not get anything from them.

I am hoping that Airdrie business will get behind us and help us fill the space now that Dudley are not involved in the boards. There is no con, they are not even getting a commission. Nor are they selling them to us and then we sell them on. We instruct the manufacturers direct.

Perhaps you might like to remind everybody and see who knows a business that might be interested."

So if you know anyone who may be interest of helping out the club and getting advertising space, let Les Jones know the details.
