Looks like it's the mid-field!!!

This weeks poll was to get an idea of where Airdrie united fans think the teams has to be strengthened, the majority 49% of Stomp users feel that the mid-field must be added to.

In mid-field at the moment we have Marvyn Wilson, Lee Gardner and for most of last season Sandy Stewart has been playing Alan Gow just behind the front two. What are the choices, for me unless we bring some in playing team captain Stephen Docherty in mid-field instead of Lee Gardner would be first choice.

This would then leave Alan McManus, Scott Wilson and Neil McGeown as the back three only 15% of fans feel any change is needed here. Wing backs at the moment are Willie Wilson and David Dunn once only 14% feel that this must be the priority.

But the shock to me is that 21% feel we need a change in the front pairing of Jerome Varielle and Stephen McKeown, the finish to the season last year impressed me and i think the combination will work well again.

So onto the new poll, not so much to do with footballing matters but what surrounds it at the present time.
