Airdrie United -V- Dundee United friendly

Airdrie United play hosts to Premier League Dundee United, bringing back a few names from our recent and distant past. This is going to be a tough game.

This will be Sandy Stewarts final chance to see who he will be playing in his first team. With what seems to be a successful pre-season tour of Northern Ireland and games against Motherwell and Albion Rovers behind us, I think today's match will be the teams toughest test.

With the return of ex-manager Ian McCall and players Jim McIntyre and Owen Coyle in the team, the Airdrie Support are sure to give some of them an excellent welcome.

Returning to the team for this game should be Jerome Varielle, Stephen McKeown and Allan McManus should be making his first team debut since coming back to the team from Ayr United.

I can see a few goals in this game but wouldn't like to predict where there going to come from.
