Airdrie United -V- Montrose

Ok that's it, it's over. A summer with no worries, no Demonstrations, No extremely important meetings and no worries about the future. this is me happy and patiently waiting for tomorrow Airdrie United first competitive match of season 2003/2004.

This may not be the biggest competition in the world but hey were there and were playing 2nd August 15:00pm New Broomfield stadium Airdrie Airdrie United under the management of Sandy Stewart take on Montrose in the first round of the challenge cup.

Sandy takes his team into this match with almost a full squad to choose from. The only player not available for selection is 'Mark Cherry??? taken from the BBC website' or is it maybe PETER CHERRY the Airdrie United goal keeper. So who will be in the first team and what formation will Sandy choose to play? At the moment I don't care I will just be glad to get back and see a competitive game.

Montrose on the other hand come with a few players who will get last minute fitness checks.
