Airdrie -V- Arbroath preview

Another Semi-final over and once again Airdrie find themselves looking forward to another cup final, or is it our first? Which ever way you choose to look at it well done Sandy Stewart and the team.
But now reality strikes again, Sat 20th of Sept and Airdrie welcome Arbroath to New Broomfield, both teams have an unbeaten record to hold onto, Airdrie unbeaten at home in the league and Arbroath have not lost a game in league so far this season, winning one and drawing four.
Only one point separates both teams.
The usual suspects are missing from Sandy Stewarts line up for the game, Lee Gardner with a groin strain and Stephen McKeown who estimates say will return in the next few weeks. Jerome Varielle sent of before half time during the Brechin game is also suspended from this game, this however allows him to play in the Bells Challenge Cup final against Inverness on the 26th of October.
