I hope everyone had a good Christmas and Sandy Stewart can lead the team to our first victory in the league since we last beat Stenhousemuir 2-0 on the 18 of October. Alan Gow was in fine form during this game setting up both goals. The first scored by Jerome Varielle and the second by Stephen McKeown.
Sandy has almost a full squad out training today(boxing Day) in preparation for this match and the only player that will be a definite no show is Scott Wilson who has been ordered to rest for a while and let his knee injury recover. After missing out on the cup trip to Inverurie David Dunn has also recovered from an ankle injury.
After being severely beaten by Gretna (remember them) 5-1 in the cup last week John Mcviegh has two players suspended, Paul Bonar red carded at the Gretna game and Anthony Smith??? Jamie McKenzie also sent of in the game V Gretna is able to play in this match as it was two yellow cards he received so it is just added onto his total of 4 yellow cards. It still would not suprise me if Jamie ended up a Diamond at one time or another
