Morton v Airdrie Preview 16/1/04

Back to league business after our short lived journey in the cup and could we have a bigger fixture in the Scottish Second division.
Airdrie are on the road again, when was the last home fixture, and this time it's down the M8 to league leaders Morton for our forth match of the season and the third in the league.
Most will remember the last match at home to Morton but since I wasn't there I can skip right over it and move on.
Sandy takes a full squad down to Greenock and a big support is expected to follow them. We are all hoping for a good match and the result to travel home with us. We need to close the 10 point gap and noew is as good a time as ever to start clawing back some points. We have been Morton and shown there is nothing to fear so it is time the team stood up and were counted, please!!
An impressive first half against St Mirren in the cup last week leads me to believe the team won't be changed much the question on every ones lips will Paul Ronald still get a start ahead of newly signed Kevin Christie.
From the Morton camp an injury to Stewart Greacen rules him out but keeper Craig Coyle will make it back into the squad after he recovered from a slight knock.
Can someone please explain the rule concerning red cards for me please as I had expected Scott Bannerman to be out of the line up after he was sent of for the Partick Thistle.
