Will it be a weekend of celebration or another week of waiting for the Diamonds faithful, two matches may resolve the the first promotion issue of the Bells Scottish 2nd Division. Airdrie v Forfar and Alloa V Hamilton.

As expected Sandy Stewart is playing down our chances of winning the Championship and concentrating on just gaining promotion into the First Division. He's right of course, but lets hope that either at the end of the game tomorrow or after the game Versus Hamilton he can scream to the world (well Airdrie Fans) that the championship is now his main aim. A battle cry if you like to inspire the fans and let everyone know that Airdrie are back.
There are a few choices for Sandy to make tomorrow, Kevin Christie for Willie Wilson and Neil McGeown for Scott Wilson, do we change a defence that has not allowed any goals for the last three games or do we freshen things up for the challenge of Forfar.
Airdrie are still without Stephen Docherty and David Dunn for this match but it is rumoured David may be back for next weeks game.
Any points dropped by Hamilton tomorrow assuming of course we win will mean promotion for the Diamonds.

Ray Stewart of Forfar knows that one point will secure Forfars time in the Bells Second Division for another season
The Loons have no new injury worries going into this game and the return in the second half of last weeks game of Paul Tosh will be a boost to the Forfar fans.
Ray Stewart hopes that once he has secured the teams future he can start to blood some of his younger players. |

Although important i think Airdrie have to concentrate on our own game and take the Hamilton result as it comes, if we have to gain promotion next week so be it.
