Alan Gow deal Off

Today at the Supporters trust open meeting it was announced that the move from Gretna to buy Alan Gow is off and will remain off.

It is believed that the approach was legitimate and would have been considered if Gretna had not approached another senior member of the Airdrie squad with out any knowledge of the team management or directors of Airdrie.
Whether it was Rowan Alexander the Gretna manager or a direct approach from the Gretna director we do not know but we can say that Airdrie United have reported this illegal action to the S.F.A.
What will come of it, we do not know but I don't think Gretna will be treated to well with any future dealings. Watch out for more details in tomorrows press.
