Airdrie take on Queen of the South once again and this time the Diamonds have to win as the hounds seem to be barking at the heels of manager Sandy Stewart.

Queen of the South

Where do you go after a big defeat? Well for Airdrie it has to be up the way after a 5 - 0 defeat last week it's time Airdrie stood up and were counted and tomorrows match is the time to do it.
We have already lost to Queen of the South once this season a 2-0 defeat in the Bells Challenge cup and I'm sure we won't se a repeat of that.
Sandy and Kenny have had the team in for extra training this week but we are still left with a few injury problems. Long term injuries to Martin Hardie and Willie Mclaren don't seem to be lessoning. There are also a few more players that will be given late fitness tests to see if they will make it. On that list I would probably put Neil McGowan, David Dunn, Alan Gow and Stephen McKeown, but there is no official confirmation of this.

Queen of the South

Ian Scott the Queens manager has his own selection headache Emilio Jaconelli, Willie Gibson, Brian Reid and Eric Paton are all injured, while Craig Sampson is on international duty with the Scotland Under-21s, With so many first team players missing Scott thinks that Airdrie will have the advantage and it will be difficult to take all three points.
