Winter Fixtures: - change kick off times

It's only the end of November and already we have had one fixture called off and rescheduled, would it be worth considering rescheduling kick off times to allow for such things.

On Sat our game in deepest darkest Paisley was called off at 10:00am after
temperatures in some areas dropped to -7. Would the game have went ahead if,
knowing the problems some parks have, the kick off had been scheduled for the
Friday night. A weeks notice could have been enough to give everyone warning
that this was going to happen.

We play Clyde this weekend a 10 minute journey for most of us if the game was in any doubt in the morning would putting the match back too 5pm make any difference? As long as Radio Scotland or Clyde could be encouraged to announce the kick off times on a regular basis would this allow fixtures to be played?
Announce that every fixture will have an inspection maybe four hours before kick off and if then the ref decides a delay may help then a delay is authorised.
