Big Wes' International Opportunity

Wes Morgan is finally to be given a shot at playing for the England U21's. David Platt's (Eurgh!) scouts have been watching Wes for a while now according to reports confirmed by Kinnear and Dawson.
Looks like 'Big Wes' will finally get a chance to meet up with team-mate Michael Dawson on the international scene after it's been confiremed that David Platt's Under 21 scouts have been at The City Ground. I wouldn't normally want anything to do with David Platt to be near the City Ground but I'll make an exception this time as the lure of playing for his country will probably overpower Wes' urge to tell that disgrace where to shove it! "I think Wes deserves his chance and the way he has been playing at the moment, he is certainly knocking on the door for the next squad. "He plays a better standard of football than players at Premiership sides who don't make their first teams." Said Kinnear on Wes' chance. Michael Dawson also commented on the player getting his shot and basically stated that he cannot believe that he has been overlooked for so long- neither can we!
"The fact he is playing first-team football should help.
