Just a thank you note, Big Joe.

Just an opportunity for me, and you, to express our gratitude for what Joe Kinnear has done for our wonderful club. Surely he's the best coach since should-be-Sir, Brian Clough...

So we managed to round off a great end to the Fotball League season with an impressive win over promoted West Bromwich Albion courtesy of two absolute stunners from Gazza Williams and, the man that has missed most of this campaig via injury, 'Johno.'

Of course we all know who we have to thank for this dramatic turn-around in Forest performances which have seen us avoid relegation and finish above Preston North End in 14th place- Joe Kinnear. If it wasn't for this guy surely now we'd be looking forward to a season in the Second Division under a manager that no matter what the result of games and the performances of players, would praise the team and those (almost) famous words would roll of his tounge... "The lads worked their socks off."
