Mark Arthur tells why the season tickets had to go up. It seems he is more interested in $$$ than having a group of dedicated fans who turn up week in week out to watch the Reds.

Mark Arthur announced on Forest World that any money coming from the rise in season ticket prices will go straight to Joe Kinnear for transfers.

The reason that was given for the rise was that we were well behind other top teams in this division in season ticket prices. Ipswich Town had raised 2 million more than us on these last season. There's no point comparing us to them, though as their prices are ridiculous.

He also made it pretty clear that he isn't too grateful to those that come to watch the Reds on a weekly basis and basically stated that he would rather have a ground full of fair-weather fans than ST holders. I've never liked this guy.
