Who the hell are Leicester City?

If I were a Liverpool supporter I wouldn’t go to the Tranmere sites. If I was a Muslim I wouldn’t go to a church and seek Jesus rather than Mohammed, so why is it that a certain number of Leicester fans flood our site with poorly uneducated comments about how their team is bigger then Forest.
Lester Citee who? - ForestFC.co.uk By ForestFC.co.uk Forget facts of yesteryear or for what the season ahead will give us, the question that should be on our lips is “What has happened to tradition?” LCFC have never been rivals to Nottingham Forest, they hold the same level of rivalry as Exeter City or AC Milan, that is to say that LCFC are just another football team and mean nothing more to the Forest faithful. So where has this bad feeling and immature ranting appeared from? I must apologise to fans of LCFC if my fellow supporters write similar messages in LCFC websites but I don’t know, as I don’t visit them. Why? Because I haven’t got a care about LCFC and I don’t care where Williams goes, if he is not at Forest then we don’t need to worry about him. While my fellow supporters of the Garibaldi trawl through the history books to search for past results or statistics that put Forest in higher esteem to that of the Foxes we are missing the point of supporting our beloved team. That no other club or team cares, no other team or club can be held in the same breath or calculated into the same equation as Nottingham Forest. I’ve poured 28 years of blood, sweat, tears, agony and joy into Nottingham Forest. If LCFC had been above Forest every year and had beaten us 1-0 every game, Leicester would still remain unimportant to me, similar to that of an unknown division 9 team in the local football leagues. So overall to my fellow reds, yes we have won the European cup twice (successive seasons) and it won’t be emulated by a division 9 local football team or Leicester City or even Manchester United. We remain the smallest city to have achieved the pinnacle of European football and yes it did happen a quarter of a century, but shinguards and crossbars happened much longer before that and they still remain in our day-to-day lives like our Success in the 70’s. Yes you know what I am going to say, Forest are to thank for those achievements, those inventions. Not LCFC or MUFC etc. So lets sit back and gloat what we have been able to give to football and understand why tin pot teams (we don’t need to mention names) live in awe of what is Nottingham Forest. Teams that will never be able to understand true heart and soul of world football will always try to bring the big team down to their low level ceefax standard of play, ambition and tradition.
