Hammers dismiss reports of Harewood Reds' return.

West Ham United and former Forest striker Marlon Harewood will not be making a return to The Reds, much to the dismay of Forest fans. The player has already denied that he is looking to move away from Upton Park, and that he is actually very happy there- and now Alan Pardew has had to do the same.

West Ham United fans must be wondering just how many times us Forest fans need to be told something before it registers in our minds! Once again they have had to dismiss rumours of Marlon Harewood coming back to The City Ground. Hammers' boss Alan Pardew stated: "Marlon has already said himself that he is very happy at West Ham and has no wish to leave. "I am delighted about that because I can assure our supporters that Marlon is very much part of my plans for the new season." Forest might well have made a bid, however. West Ham's managing director admitted: West Ham managing director Paul Aldridge said today: "There has been some interest in him from clubs. But we don't have to sell him" If Marlon is to be a key part of the Hammers promotion chasing squad next league campaign then I cannot see him leaving for a smaller club who are financially worse off.
