Fans favourite sings Kinnear's praises.

David Johnson has been singing Joe Kinnear's praises in today's evening post. The Jamaican-born forward has spoken of how Kinnear doesn't make the players feel that as much pressure is being put on them and how they can relax and do their own thing.

David Johnson has praised his manager and has been singing his praise sin today's edition of the Evening Post. The Jamaican-forwrad has spoken of how the Dublin-born super-manager has restored the confidence and faith in the Forest camp. Johnson said: "After my broken leg, I felt I had nothing to do with anything and, effectively, I was like a fan watching the games. "The lads were really struggling and we had one spell when we went a lot of games without a win. "Within the camp, it felt like we were never going to do it. "But we got Alan Rogers and Andy Impey in with the new manager and things started to change. "Paul Evans and Paul Gerrard then arrived and it just went on from there. "If we'd had another six weeks of the season, we might have even got into the play-offs. "But before that, things were going a bit stale and I think some of the players had lost faith in the manager." He also spoke of how with Kinnear you are not put under such immense pressure and that player's won't fall apart due to the crush: He said: "Paul was very intense and absolutely everything we did was monitored, on the pitch and off it. "Joe gives you a piece of rope and sees how much you take but if you let him down on a Saturday then you certainly know about it. "He expects 100% in every game. But if you have a bad day at training, it's not the end of the world. It is forgotten. "Everything used to be monitored all the time before. You had a profile and you had to keep up with that. "You never thought you could get away from the club and, when things weren't going well, it was horrible." We agree with Johnson 100% and feel that with this guy at the helm, we can finally achieve our promotion dreams.
