Kidderminster Harriers get Sonner on trial.

Out-of-contract Nottingham Forest middfielder Danny Sonner is now on trial with Kidderminister Harriers. The Coca-Cola League Two outfit are in need of player's of his sort and the Northern Irish international is currently not a part of Joe Kinnear's plans.

Out-of-contract Danny Sonner has found himself on trial at Coca-Cola League Two outfit Kidderminster Harriers. The Northern Irish international's contract ran out at the end of last season, but he has not been offered a new one and remains at The City Ground on a temporary basis. According to Sky Sports the player also has an offer from German side Eintracht Frankfurt who have just been relegated from Die Bundesliga after finishing third from bottom. Joe Kinnear has previously stated that if he does not receive any offers from other clubs then he may review the situation but for now Sonner is not a part of Kinnear's plans for the new season. Kidderminster are said to be chasing the player as their bid for Micky Mellon broke down. Apparently talks between themselves and him broke down after the former Bristol City man failed to agree personal terms.
