Poor showing does not stop the Shaymen

Shaymen survive a scare and move into the 5th round of the FA Umbro Trophy with a PK by Craig Midgley with nine minutes to go in the match.
The Shaymen put in a poor performance but still are moving on to the next round. The Shaymen got there first scare in the 42min as Gary's striker Wayne Vaughan blasting home a 35-yard off a free kick! An equilizer from Brian Quailey at the 45min get the Shaymen back into the match. Clarkson put the Shaymen on to in the 50th min and Halifax Town thought another vicory was at hand. The Gray's Fayenuwo first touch in the match off a free kick in the 70th min got the visitors even.
A penalty nine minutes from time was taken by
Craig Midgley of HalifaxTown won the Shaymen'n eighth match in a row. In injury time Gary's felt they were robbed as no call was made when their player coach was taken down in the penalty area. The end result moves Halifax Town into the 5th round of the FA Umbro Trophy.
