Timbers take on El Paso

El Paso comes into town with the Timbers finding the net with Byron Alvarez help. The timber will be looking to close the gap with Seattle

Pre Match Report The Timbers take on El Paso this Friday night at 7:00PM Gavin Wilkinson will be sitting out this match due to a red card he received in the match here at home with Calgary. The Timbers will have Josh Saunders in goal once again before he takes off to San Jose for a match with the Quake's on Saturday. Byron Alvarez has been hot as of late putting the ball in the back of the net and leads the team in goals scored. The Timbers seem to be in a grove  and with all games remaining  important in the playoff race this is a good sign.
