Manchester United's Oliver Norwood has joined Scunthorpe United on loan. The central midfielder, who has senior honours for Northern Ireland, moves to the Iron on a five-month deal that will expire on January 2nd.
Norwood is yet to make a single first-team appearance for United.
However, he is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future and has already picked up four Northern Ireland caps.
The player has been an unused substitute for United in European competition and has been handed the number 14 jersey at Scunthorpe.
Iron presently sit 19th in League One, having picked up three points from their opening four league games.

invaluable competitive footy for the young lad, good to see it and will serve him well for his future
