Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison is reportedly a transfer target for Spanish giants Barcelona, according to Sky Sports. The 18-year-old is out-of-contract at the end of the season, and speculation suggests that the Champions League holders could be set to offer him a lucrative deal at the Nou Camp, though PSG may also step forward with an offer.
Morrison is widely regarded as an excellent prospect for the future - though to date he has only made three Carling Cup appearances as a substitute for United.
The player received praise recently from Spurs boss Harry Redknapp in his column in The Sun, but he also noted that the youngster’s attitude could be a stumbling block to his future at Old Trafford.
Sky Sports claims that Barcelona are tracking the player, with Paris Saint-Germain also in the frame to secure the attack-minded midfielder’s signature.
As Morrison is under the age of 24, United would be entitled to compensation if the player agreed terms with another club. This could be in the region of £300,000.
