Ryan Giggs and Darren Fletcher were in action as Wales took on Scotland at the Millennium Stadium. The hosts ran out easy winners, with Mark Hughes men cruising to a 4-0 victory in a one-sided 'Battle of Britain'.

Fletcher were head-to-head on Wednesday as the two nations faced each other
in a 'Battle of Britain' which took place at the Millennium Stadium.
The hosts ran out easy winners thanks to a hat-trick from Cardiff City's Robert Earnshaw and a late strike from Nottingham Forest's Gareth Taylor which ended the rout. Just under 50,000 were in attendance in an international where both sides were severely under-strength so it will be hard to judge much from the game. Ryan Giggs played the entire first-half, and set-up Wales' second-goal, but was substituted during the break as a precaution. Darren Fletcher was taken off later on in the second-half, and was one of the better Scots players in what was a dire evening for Bertie Vogts' side.
