Division One outfit Crewe Alexandra have snapped up Manchester United's young goalkeeper Ben Williams on a one-month loan deal to solve their goalkeeping worries ahead of the game against Cardiff City tomorrow.

Williams on a one-month loan deal to solve their goalkeeping worries ahead
of the game against Cardiff City tomorrow.
Williams, 21, only signed a professional contract with The Red Devils two years ago and has yet to see any first-team action but going on-loan will supply invaluable experience. The forth choice 'keeper was signed by Crewe boss Dario Gradi at the last minute to fill the boots of injured no.1 goalie Clayton Ince against Cardiff City at Gresty Road tomorrow. The Englishman joins fellow United youngsters Neil Wood, Michael Stewart and Luke Chadwick in the First Division. |
