Manchester United v. Everton - Preview

Bank Holiday Monday will not be a very relaxing one for either team after both teams were in Premiership action on Saturday.

Ironically, Everton star Wayne Rooney could be a United player hours before or hours after the game as both clubs are nearing an agreement for the 18-year-old England international and might be watching the game in the stands.

The month of August hasn't been a particularly victorious month for the Red Devils after an early set-back by Chelsea and picking up just one point at Ewood Park, most recently. United have also had to play the whole month of August without a regular 'Saturday 3pm' kick-off due to television coverage etc.

Everton, however, have made a better start than their Lancashire opponents. David Moyes' side have picked up a decent 6 points from 3 games whereas Sir Alex Ferguson's outfit have picked up just 4 points from the same amount of games.

Frenchman Louis Saha is expected to start the game up-front with Alan Smith and an orthodox 4-4-2 formation after recovering from injury and proving fitness. Saha is likely to replace Kleberson, who Saha replaced at half-time during the Blackburn game last weekend.

Everton have a full squad to choose from apart from obvious casualties Li Tie and Wayne Rooney. Tim Cahill should make his debut for the Toffees.
