Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that he is not bothered by who his side faces in the newly-formed Champions League Knock Out Stage following The Red Devils' 3-0 slump carried out by Fenerbahce in Turkey. United finished 2nd in their group, one behind a strong Olympique Lyonnais side, who hit 5 past a hapless Sparta Prague last night to finish top. Yesterday's results mean United can only face Bayer Leverkusen, Internazionale, Juventus, Milan or Monaco. However, despite finishing second, Scotsman Ferguson deemed himself not bothered going into tomorrow's draw, saying: "It doesn't matter who you get out of that five," "You hope you go through and have everyone ready and you need a bit of luck with injuries when it comes round to the end of February, beginning of March. Speaking in a post-match interview after his fringe players went down 3-0 to 3rd placed Fenerbahce, Ferguson commented: "They caught us and we showed a lack of strength defensively which was an area where we should have been strongest, but I have no complaints over the scoreline," |
