United Handed Tough Champions League Draw

Manchester United will have to do an Italian Job if they want to progress further than last season's Champions League campaign after being paired with AC Milan for the Knock-Out Stage.

Sir Alex Ferguson previously predicted that his side would face AC Milan, although the United faithful were hoping of slightly less challenging ties against the likes of Bayer Leverkusen.

Speaking straight after the draw in Switzerland earlier on Friday afternoon, Sir Alex Ferguson commented: "I had a feeling we were going to get AC Milan. We've never played against them under my tenure and it should be a great tie."

He added: "They are a very experienced team, one of the most experienced in Europe. But we are really looking forward to it."

Premiership rivals Arsenal and Chelsea have also been handed tricky ties. Jose Mourinho's table-topping Chelsea will face La Liga outfit Barcelona whjilst The Gunners take on Bayern Munich.
