Why Collymore hit Ulrika

In an interview with today's The Mirror Stan Collymore revealed to the world why he hit ex-TV weather girl Ulrika Jonsson, five years ago.
The 32-year-old Stan never denied the assault claims but
in an indepth interview in today's Mirror, he tries to explain what happened,
although he says he totally regrets his actions.
"What happened was wrong. It's the biggest regret of my life. Physical
violence is unacceptable," said Stan.
"We travelled back from Paris together and in the weeks after saw each
other several times.
"Despite what Ulrika was saying publicly, she certainly didn't have any
problems spending time with me. It was still a sexual relationship.
"She slagged me off, but was more than willing to be with me, as long as it
wasn't in public."
He added: "Ulrika only mentions the bad bits. It's never served her purpose
to put it any other way. I'm not trying to paint a rosy picture, but we loved
each other."
