Royals face home tie in third round of the Cup

Reading have been draw at home in the third round of the F.A. Cup and will face either Stockport County or Swansea City at the Madejski Stadium.The tie will take place on Saturday,8th January 2005.

| Reading have been drawn at home for the third round of the F.A. Cup and will face either Stockport County or Swansea City at the Madejski Stadium. Stockport and Swansea who fought out a goalless draw at Edgeley Park on Saturday will now have a replay at the Vetch on Tuesday 14th December to decide who goes through to face The Royals.
