Imps drawn against Hartlepool in JP Trophy

Lincoln City will face Hartlepool at home in the JP Trophy after the 2 sides were drawn together in the 2nd Round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. It's the first time City have been in a 2nd round for 2 years. It'll be the first time since the 2000/1 season that the Imps will face Pool in this competition, and that season the Imps made the Northern Final.

 City haven't made it past their first hurdle of the JP Trophy since making the Quarter Finals in 2003/4, eventually losing out to Halifax. Hartlepool were amongst Blackpool, Morecambe and Chesterfield as the Imps cruised to the Northern Final in 2000/1, eventually losing on aggregate to Port Vale.

The game will take place on the weekend starting October 8th.
