Ollie Ryan given yet another last chance

Ollie Ryan has been given yet another last chance to save his City career. After extending it twice recently with both times being stated as his "last chance," Ollie will now stay until June. Ryan has never impressed in the first team despite being prolific at reserve team level and has failed to score in any of his 38 appearances for the Lincoln City first team.

A few years back the fans were calling for Ryan to be given his chance and he was given that chance. He was given a surprise start against Cheltenham Town and went on to waste several seemingly easy chances to win a game that the Imps eventually lost. He kept missing easy chances and the fans that had been so vocal in wanting him to have a chance were suddenly very quiet.

Signing a new contract didn't turn his fortune around as he then started failing even getting shots on goal and at the beginning of this season he was given a 6 month contract, seemingly his last chance. 13 games and no goals later he has been given yet another chance by being offered another 6 month contract.

It seems strange that despite being a constant under-performer in the first team he is given chance after chance, surely this is his true last chance.
