Keith Alexander loses third job in two years

Keith Alexander has left his third job in under 2 years after his contract at Bury was terminated after the Gigg Lane outfit slipped closer to the drop zone. Keith joined the Shakers at the beginning of the season as a Director of Football to Chris Casper, a manager who claimed they dominated every single game they played in. Now both are searching for new employment.

Keith left the Imps as manager just a few days after City lost in their 4th playoff campaign to Grimsby by a 3-1 aggregate scoreline. It came as little surprise when he popped up at Peterborough a few weeks later, as he had been linked with the London Road hotseat for sometime whilst at City.

Whilst there he brought players such as George Boyd, Aaron McLean and Craig Mikail-Smith to London Road but a poor run of results gave Darragh MacAnthony the excuse to sack him. That came just weeks after MacAnthony has stated publicly that he didn't want Keith Alexander as manager of Peterborough.

A few months away from football and Keith was appointed to help hapless Chris Casper in his role at Bury. However, Casper's tactics yet again saw them struggle against the drop and both were relieved of their duties on Monday afternoon.

I hear St James' Park's got a managerial vacancy going Keith.
