Is everything going to get a bit Iffy?

Lincoln City's assistant manager vacancy could soon be filled by Iffy Onuora. The former Scottish born Nigerian international has been tipped by many to become Peter Jackson's assistant. Although nothing has been confirmed many people have been citing that Iffy Onuora has been quoted to them from "reliable" sources, although Terry Yorath's name has also been put about quite a bit.

Onuora is a name that a few City fans will be aware of as he scored for Peter Jackson's Huddersfield Town side back in the 2003/4 Playoffs. His header from a Rob Edwards corner was the final professional goal he ever scored as he retired after that season had been completed.

Since his retirement he was appointed as Swindon Town manager and was originally going to be the subject of Ron Atkinson's ego trip, a.k.a the TV Show "Big Ron Manager," in which Atkinson gave off the attitude of "I'm right, you're wrong, deal with it" towards Steve Bleasdale. Onuora was tentative about doing it and eventually refused to take part in the show, after which Ron took his ego to Peterborough.

Onuora left Swindon when they were relegated to League Two and was recently caretaker of Gillingham.

He has emerged as the most likely candidate to take over McDonald's position after several fans claimed that they have been told be "reliable" sources that he will be in place before tonight's trip to Accrington Stanley.

The only other name mentioned has been Terry Yorath, Jackson's assistant at Huddersfield Town.
