Dany set for move to the elite?

Dany N'Guessan is the subject of speculation to moves to teams such as Wigan Athletic, Hull City and Valencia, if all the rumours are true. Speculation on several sites have indicated that those three teams, as well as others, have expressed an interest in the Frenchman after a recent run of impressive performances for the Imps.

Dany joined the Imps from Rangers in 2007, signing on the same day as Paul Green. He struggled to hold down a first team place in his first season at Sincil Bank, but was a regular last and this season. He has split opinions amongst the fans, all of whom have no doubt that he has the talent, but the main division being that most feel he isn't nearly consistent enough.

This speculation seems to have come out of nowhere, especially the rumours linking him to teams such as Marseille and Valencia. However, Dany has been arguably our best player in recent weeks, scoring in our last two games as City have extended to a run of just one defeat in six games...although that run does contain just the two wins.

With the Frenchman's contract up in the summer, it could easily be a case of the transfer fee being decided by tribunial, an interesting prospect indeed.
