A few days ago I went to Blundell Park thinking we might actually win a game for once, I was very wrong and have since come to realise that it's time I laid a few realities checks out to those who still think we can get in the Playoffs.

Well its been 3 days now since the debacle, and I have to admit that I have cooled off. The consolation is that if we remember it was a very similar day to that home match against Acc.. Stanley when we won by the same amount I believe, and the goals all being scored within the same time scale. So we have to accept the rough with the smooth, especially when we support the Imps. I certainly dont feel we should be calling for Jacko's head, for 2 reasons, firstly we cant afford as a club to have to pay him up, and he is after all in the process of rebuilding .
But having said that I admit to some feeling of frustration, possibly not so much as the "faceless ones" he refers to. This brings me to my main point, I wonder if posters realise that they can have a louder say for very little outlay. How ? easy the minimum number of shares you can purchase is 50, which will cost £25 and will enable you to attend the annual general meeting to ask questions and to air your views in a more positive manner. You will be given the chance to quiz the manager, and also Steff Wright e t c , you also learn alot more about the workings of the club, regarding the finances. More importantly the younger supporters will be welcome as the majority of shareholders appear of a mature age, and sometimes will probably find the lateness of the meeting affects their energy levels !
So , for the price of a months mobile phone bill ? or even less you will be in the know. Or if you have a younger family the purchase of 50 shares or so would be a nice long term birthday or christmas present . All for the modest outlay of £25 .
Me , I already am a shareholder , and as there are 2 matches on TV tonight I should think you will be able to spot me , as I will be the one cheering the Imps on to another memorable win . I have a red and white scarf, and will be in the Echo stand so you should be able to find me ,
Good luck !!

I was dreading watching this ........ but what fantastic opening titles, such emotion seldom seen! Pity you didn't zoom in on Duncan's t-shirt btw which advertises himself in the Echo every Friday (pmsl)
