Simon Yeo retires!

Simon Yeo has retired from professional football. The former Lincoln City man has decided to hang up his boots to take up a body-guarding role in Iraq. Yeo will be most remembered for his mini-goalscoring efforts during the end of the 2002/3 season and is often credited with being the reason we made the Final.

Yeo was one of the first signings made in Keith's second spell at the club. He and Simon Weaver signed on the same day and were joined by Ben Futcher, Dene Cropper, Scott Willis, Adie Mike and various other non-League veterans. He went by the 50 goal mark whilst at Sincil Bank, but he failed to have the same impact at numerous other clubs at leaving Lincoln, taking his total upto 68 in 257 League games, still a fair return.

Legend

A smash of glass and a rumble of boots. An electric train and a ripped up phone booth.A splatted wall and the cry of a tom cat. Lights going out and a kick in the balls. I SAY THATS ENTERTAINMENT.
