Nottingham Forest fans have been surprised by the news that Joe Heath has been allowed to join City on loan. Many were expecting the youngster to push on for a first team place at the City Ground this coming season, but Billy Davies has allowed him to go out on loan to Sincil Bank.
Still working in Nottingham has allowed me to gather some good opinions from the Forest fans that I work with. The 20 year old has joined the Imps until the New Year on loan from the Championship side and all Forest fans I spoke to were surprised that he was allowed to leave.
"Heath is a good young prospect, I'm a little surprised that Davies has let him go to a team two divisions down when he is clearly capable of holding his own in the Championship," said one of my fellow employees (names kept hidden for the reason of confidentiality).
Heath made 10 appearances for Forest last season, making his debut in a 4-0 win over Morecambe in the Carling Cup.

Would that be Gunther Sid?
I'm sure I heard some lads mentioning his name at the 2020 at Trent Bridge last night. I know theyvwant rid of around 14 players I believe.

Spoke to a Headteacher at a Notts school yesterday, who is a season-ticket holder of 30 years and he simply didn't believe me that we'd snapped him up ......... this has to be a good thing surely?
