Elding wants to come back, whereas Sergio is

Anthony Elding has sounded a come-and-get-me plea to Lincoln City after being told he could leave Crewe by Dario Gradi. Meanwhile, Sergio Torres appears set to join the Imps on loan again after City and Peterborough agreed that he can join until the end of the season.

Anthony Elding spent three months on loan at Sincil Bank towards the end of last season and scored three goals during that spell, City not losing any of the three games that he scored in. He returned to Crewe and initially got back into the side, but has found himself dropped to sixth in the pecking order since Dario Gradi returned as temporary manager.

He told the Echo ""I really enjoyed my time at Lincoln and I would like to go back, but whether they are interested or not is another matter. I had a meeting with my agent and he says there are a few options for me. To be honest I really don't know if there is anything definite at the moment but I'm hearing so many rumours with clubs like Bradford, Gillingham and Brentford all apparently interested in me."

The only side to confirm their interest in the striker so far is Burton Albion. An article posted on Crewe's official website that Paul Peschisolido had made an enquiry as to the striker's availability.

One player who looks certain to be joining Lincoln is Sergio Torres. The Argentian recently completed a loan spell at Sincil Bank, scoring one goal before returning last week.

Again, according to the Echo, the club now appears to have struck a deal with Peterborough United to take Torres on loan until the end of the season. The deal is expected to be confirmed within the next two or three days and he will probably be in the squad to face Morecambe this Saturday.
