Mamadou Fofana was arguably one of the better players that David Holdsworth bought to the club and his absense was certainly felt whenever he didn't play.

Signed From : Free transfer

Debut : 8th September 2012

Frenchman Mamadou Henri Fofana is a beast of a man, although at first he appeared a bit like bambi-on-ice, his influence would definitely be felt during a long term injury in the first part of 2013.

After spells with CS Sedan, Olympique Noisy-le-Sac and La Vireennne FC in France before a stint with Swedish side Syrianska FC. After leaving them he tried his luck by asking for a trial at Lincoln and he impressed enough to earn a short term contract that was extended later on in the season.

Although at first he appeared to be another in a long line of poor players, Mo soon found his feet and played a big part in the club's run of 10 games without defeat. He became injured just after the new year and the Imps form took a serious nose dive, but did slowly improve after he returned.

Mo signed another contract at the end of the 2012/13 season.
