Luke Foster is set to return to the Imps after it was confirmed that he had agreed a deal to bring him back to Sincil Bank. Foster had initially played for the Imps towards the end of Keith Alexander's second spell at Sincil Bank.
The signing of Foster will be something of a coup for the Imps as he was playing in League One just a few months ago, and his inclusion in the squad to face Lincoln United a few weeks ago surprised many. He has impressed during pre-season and has earnt a new deal, which according to Leigh Curtis, journalist at the Lincolnshire Echo, he has agreed.
Foster initially joined the Imps in 2005 after being released from Sheffield Wednesday. He was used intermittently during that season before being dropped all together by John Schofield in 2006/7. After leaving the Imps he went on to have spells at Stalybridge Celtic, Oxford United, Mansfield Town, Stevenage and Preston.
