Blackburn, Bradford and Lincoln, Nike do identikits again

Nike have yet again produced a multi-kit for all of the teams that they are producing strips for, and Lincoln's new home kit matches the home kit of Bradford (well, in design) and Blackburn Rovers' away kit.

Nike have a history of producing the exact same kit of all of their teams down the years, and much like in 2006/7, all teams who had stripes traditionally are now abandoning that for at least a year. That season teams such as Hartlepool and Grimsby went from stripes to half/half kits, and this year it appears to be just a single stripe as their style of choice.

Our new kit matches the home kit of Bradford City and away kit of Blackburn in terms of style.

It's been a mixed reception amongst Imps fans, and is the first time since 2000/1 where the Imps have completely abandoned the full stripes concept, but more worryingly for Imps fans it is 8th summer in a row where the Imps have a new home kit. The last time the Imps kept the same home kit for more than a season was way back in 2005/6 with the kit that has become nicknamed as the "enormo collar" kit, since then the kit has changed every single season.

Below is Tom Miller sporting the new kit.
