Promotion winning Newport manager predicts City to do well

Justin Edinburgh lead Newport County to the Football League last season and has now predicted that the Imps will finish 8th, ten places higher than FourFourTwo magazine predicte us to finish.
A few days ago FourFourTwo magazine had the Imps to finish 18th, lower than each of the previous two seasons. Lincoln weren't the only side to be happy with the prediction as it appears that they have just copied and pasted last season's table, just moving most teams around by a space or two.
TwentyFour7 magazine had the decency to get someone who had some knowledge about the division to do their predictions for them, Newport's Justin Edinburgh. The former Tottenham man took the Welsh side from the verge of relegation in 2011/12 to winning promotion at Wembley last season, and he holds out good hopes for the Imps.
""The team that I look at and I like their signings and think could be a surprise for the play-offs is Lincoln City. They've made some good acquisitions. They've had their tough times, but they're stabilised now. They've got a great manager in Gary Simpson and I just feel that the signings he's made have been astute. They could be a real surprise package," Edinburgh told TwentyFour7
