Other semi final ends goalless

On Sunday afternoon, the other playoff sides faced each other in their playoff semi final first leg. The game, just like the Lincoln vs Macclesfield match wasn't the best with few decent oppurtunities and the game finished 0-0 leaving it finely poised for the second leg.
Although the game had 22 efforts on goal, very few troubled either keeper although Andy Kirk did have the best chance near the end when his shot was well saved by Southend's Daryl Flahaven. It was also a fairly dirty game with 35 free kicks being given throughout the game (only 2 of those being for offside).
The attendance, just like the Lincoln vs Macclesfield game was disappointing with only 6601 turning up for the game. So this tie is finely poised at the minute but you're money has to be on Southend to go through to the final considering their home record and hopefully they'll meet the Imps in the final if City can see of Macclesfield.
