Lincoln City youngster, Jack Hobbs is apparantly a transfer target of Manchester United and Arsenal. "Spalding Today" has run a story claiming that Keith Alexander has rejected bids from both clubs for the youngster including, what is to be believed a £100,000 bid from Arsenal.
Hobbs was initially linked with Arsenal a few weeks ago when the Echo revealed the 3 times Premiership Champions had made an enquiry about Hobbs and according to the Spalding newspaper, the Gunners made a £100,000 bid for the youngster, a bid that Keith Alexander turned down.
It now turns out that Manchester United Youth Team Manager, Brian McClair has also made an enquiry about taking the youngster to Old Trafford.
Hobbs is the youngest ever player to wear the Lincoln shirt in the league and is half way through a scholarship at Sincil Bank but if Alexander does accept a bid for him from one of the big clubs, there are few that would see Hobbs rejecting the chance to join one of Europe's biggest clubs.
