Goalkeeper, Alan Marriott has verbally agreed to a 3 year contract to stay with Lincoln City. The former Tottenham Hotspurs goalkeeper was out of contract but will not be at Sincil Bank until summer 2008. He is just the second of 10 to agree to a new contract.
Marriott signed from Spurs in 1999 and quickly established himself in the first team, missing only 15 games from 2000/1 to present. Marriott is rated as one of the best keepers in the lower division and is one of the few high points so far this pre-season.
Only Peter Folkes has officially signed his contract at the minute although Marriott, Sandwith and Bloomer have all agreed. Butcher, Futcher and Yeo all left, leaving Paul Morgan, Peter Gain and SImon Raynor.
