Hobbs move in doubt

Jack Hobbs' dream move to Arsenal, could possibly be off as the Gunners are refusing the compensation package that the Imps have demanded for the youngster. The Gunners are said to be set to reject the proposal of a sell-on-clause in the compensation package.
The Premiership side have refused to bow down to the sell-on-clause that the Imps have demanded for Hobbs. There are also several other parts of the deal that Arsenal disagree with but City have agreed to bend those parts of the deal. However, if Arsenal delay any longer than Bolton, Spurs and Liverpool are apparantly set to pounce. Hobb's agent, Chris Collymore, told the Echo,
"Lincoln have put a fair package to Arsenal who are unwilling to agree on a particular issue, I am not prepared to go into details, but what they are asking Lincoln to remove from the package is a sticking point. "If Arsenal don't agree to the compensation the move is off. There are already Premiership clubs who are all willing to speak to Jack, so it's not as if he doesn't have any offers."
Lincoln's board of directors are due to meet in the next few days to discuss the possibility of Arsenal's request to remove the sell-on-clause and an announcement is expected in the near future.
