Leaving England vs Wales for England vs Wales

Temporary Imps' captain, Lee Beevers has been called up to the Welsh Under 21 squad to play England Under 21's in September. However, going to this England vs Wales games, means that Beevers will miss an alternative England vs Wales game, in the form of City vs Wrexham.

Beevers captained the Welsh Under 21s to a win over Malta in midweek. Beevers is trying to earn himself a call up to the full squad and the former Ipswich youngster is getting closer to his target. Iroincally the game against England Under 21s, is taking place at the home stadium of the team that Lincoln will be playing, Wrexham's Racecourse ground.

Beevers will definatly miss this game and is one of only a handful of players from this division to be included in the squad, he is accompanied by Dan Martin (Notts County), Mark Jones (Wrexham), Adam Birchell (Mansfield) and Craig Davies (Oxford United).
