Will Friday finally be the day?

On Friday, all out of contract players will officially be free agents and we could see some new players at Sincil Bank. City have been linked with a few names recently and if any are to be announced, Friday could possibly be the day we find out which players, if any, have decided have joined City

This time last year, the Imps' hadn't signed anyone but on Thursday 25th, City announced the signings of players such as Dean Keates, Gary Birch, Scott Kerr and Colin Cryan amoungst others and it killed a lot of the moaning that was happening amoungst the fans and the team eventually went on to do a lot better than most fans expected. Skip forward 12 months and the fans are moaning that no new signings have been made and that the players will fail to get us anywhere but hopefully Friday will see a few players being brought into Sincil Bank.

City have already been linked with several players including former Imp Richard Butcher and recently released Yeovil man, Colin Miles. It's been a quiet time at Sincil Bank recently but hopefully a few signings will get people in a more optimistic mood ahead of the new season.
